sometimes you make something delicious after a particular occasion or a magical experience of collecting ingredients, such as walking into a really nice shop and there being incredible walnuts in shells (the nuts being this deep mahogany colour) and fresh broad beans in their pods and homegrown organic lettuce. and then pure deliciousness seems to happen. its a combination of good ingredients, the magic of acquiring them, and the feeling of really wanting to cook in your body.
this is dutch cream mash with butter, fried broad beans with garlic and walnuts, and salad with a thyme lemon yogurt sauce.
